I Owe You One, from Shalamar's Big Fun album in 1979. Only peaked at #60 Billboard Hot Soul Charts but a superior classic groove written by Joey Gallo and Leon Sylvers III and produced by Leon Sylvers III.


JET Magazine to Discontinue Print Edition and Convert to Digital

Shalamar covered the magazine in 1980 with  "Big Fun", while original member and subsequent GRAMMY winner Jody Watley covered the magazine on her solo debut in 1987, the only member of Shalamar to earn her own cover.
